History
NaturalWorld was registered in 2004 under the Registration Number of 2004/033415/08 after work had begun on the database system earlier in 2003. The system was inspired by a desire to understand the movement of Southern Africa's bird species in a more holistic and comprehensive way than was previously available. Simply put, the more we understand, the better the decisions on the ground will become.

NaturalWorld is proud to announce that we have officially gone live during March 2006. Many thanks to the team for all the many hours of hard work and commitment in attaining this milestone. We look forward to bringing many more ideas to life as advances in technology make them possible.
